Refund Policy

The Capital Area Golf Tour has the following policy on refunds and exchanges.

Event Cancellation and Inclement Weather

If an event is cancelled by the tour the parent/player will receive a full refund or exchange for a tournament of equal or lesser value.

If one or more rounds of the tournament are shortened by rain (on the players card) -- CAGT will credit the player $25 to apply to another event.

If one (if 36 hole event) or more (if 54-hole) rounds are shortened by rain (on the players card) -- CAGT will credit the player $50 to apply to another event.

Player Withdrawal

If a player withdraws from a tournament more than one week in advance CAGT will give the player/parent a full refund (however, for refunds we'll deduct a handling fee of 10% starting in spring of 2010) -- or exchange for a tournament of equal value.

If a player withdraws from a tournament less than one week before the event starts, there will be no refund, except in the case of a medical condition that prevents the player from participating. CAGT may require a note from the player's doctor before providing a refund in the case of cancellation due to medical problems less than one week before the tournament.

In the event that a player withdraws from a tournament during a round for any reason, there will be no refund.
